First of all, this isn't the new Abdoujaparov album, this is something recorded a few years ago, that didn't get released because of the war in Afghanistan. That last bit might be a lie, but the first bit is true.

Uncle Fruity is a little side-project for Abdou. We play very occasional gigs, I think the last one was a coupla years ago. We tend to dress up a bit when we play, once as Cuban revolutionaries, once as sailors, once as Chas n Dave.
